Family

One of our favorite places is this park near our home. We took our nephews, who where visiting from Texas, for a whole day adventure. Water fights are a family tradition, only rule is no shoes. We dried off by playing on the jungle gym.

What's better than one cook in the kitchen? Three cooks in the kitchen. Our nieces stopped over on their way home to  Idaho and we enjoyed making blueberry pancakes and fresh cantaloupe.

Christmas Day means spending time with family. This year we were excited to visit Marianne's brother's family in their new home. Ticket to Ride is a family favorite and this game lasted twice as long because we all enjoyed talking with each other.

Doug escapes with his niece and nephew (below) into a different world by reading The Pokey Little Puppy in silly voices. The thing Doug likes most about children's books are the pictures.
Taking a walk, making pretzels or planning games are just a few of the things we enjoy doing together as a family.

Little Red Caboose Chug Chug....Little Red Caboose Chug Chug Chug...Watching Marianne teach our nieces and nephews her favorite song...priceless.
Doug bounces his niece up in the air while we celebrate Fall Harvest at a local farm. Now off to the Corn Maze to beat the setting sun.

Doug's family reunion in Park City, Utah.  Since he is the youngest of 6 kids, we enjoy having oodles of nieces (14) and nephews (10) to play with.
